Karoline trained as an actor & singer at the University of Arts Berlin and the Royal Academy of Music London, graduating from both conservatoires with distinction.

 

She has worked extensively in theatre across the UK, Germany and Austria, with credits including Tony Award - winning play OSLO at the National Theatre and Harold Pinter Theatre, the new Stephen Schwartz Musical SCHIKANEDER at Raymond Theatre Vienna, MONSIEUR POPULAR at Theatre Royal Bath and INTO THE WOODS at Grenzlandtheater Aachen, Germany. 

Voice over credits include VISITORS TO VERSAILLES at the Metropolitan Museum of Art New York.

Karoline was Head of Singing and Music at LAMDA from 2018 - 2020 and Course Leader for Foundation & Short Courses at LAMDA from 2020 - 2022.

 

Directing credits include JUNKYARD (co-direction with Sarah Frankcom) for LAMDA, SITTING PRETTY for the Rialto Theatre Brighton, DANCE NATION, FUN HOME, SWEENEY TODD, NEXT TO NORMAL and SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD (LAMDA).

As a teacher & practitioner, Karoline specialises in acting through song, singing for actors, artist development and reflective practice.
